Friday Afternoon Library Bookmobile Visits Leona Valley at Elizabeth Lake Road

LEONA VALLEY, Los Angeles County — LA County Library schedules a regular Friday stop for the Antelope Valley West Bookmobile in Leona Valley.

The published timetable places the bookmobile at 8869 Elizabeth Lake Road on Fridays from 1:30 to 3:15 p.m. The mobile library offers books and other material, helps residents obtain a county library card, and lets cardholders collect requested items. The 27-foot vehicle is described by the county as wheelchair accessible.

How to use the service

Residents can request books in advance through the LA County Library catalog and ask staff about pickups. The library also offers digital books, audiobooks, research and schoolwork support that may be accessible online without visiting a physical branch.

Because the bookmobile does not operate on county holidays and occasional mechanical or weather problems can disrupt scheduled visits, patrons should call ahead to verify service. The county lists 661-948-8270 as the mobile library’s phone number.
